Welcome to the Worship and Music ministry at First Baptist Concord! We believe that worship is a verb, not a noun. Worship is not only what we say or sing. Worship is something we do! It is not just about great songs or great musicianship. It is about our hearts, and our relationship with God. It is an act of pure adoration. |
Worship is a time where, above all else, in all circumstances, whatever is happening in our lives, we connect with God, the King of Kings, and Savior of our lives. We believe that worship enables our hearts to be open to receive all that God may have for us.
One of the first exposures many people have to First Baptist Concord is our exciting Sunday morning worship services. While our pastor and other ministers do a tremendous job teaching us God’s Word, another major strength of our corporate worship is the powerful commitment of our choirs, instrumentalists and tech crew in leading us into the presence of God each week. This is because our church places a high priority on meaningful and effective worship. Understanding some of our basic beliefs about worship may help you understand how you can become involved in this exciting ministry area. There are several areas in our Worship and Music ministry that you can be involved in.
