Mission Trips

If God is leading you or your class to participate, in any of the mission trips we will be taking in 2010, please contact the Missions Office at (865) 218-1648 for more information and applications. In order to support our partnerships and priorities, our church travels internationally more than 35 times a year. Because of your generous giving to our Faith Commitment Offering (a unified and comprehensive mission's support system) these church-sponsored trips are typically subsidized for members of First Baptist Concord. All trips are led by qualified and experienced Team Leaders. Team Members are selected based on their application, skills/gift mix, and objectives of each trip (selection is NOT based on "first come, first serve"). A six-week introductory class, "Missions 101," is required of every person going on an FBC-sponsored international mission trip and is offered regularly in our LCU (Life Change University). Children are welcome to apply if they are at least 10 years of age, are believers, are accompanied by a parent, and the trip has a role or need for them to fill. Age requirement may vary according to trip needs. Some mission trips have very limited openings. A NON-refundable deposit will be required of every applicant accepted. Attendance at all pre-trip orientation meetings is expected of all participants.
